Poem Triptych
A personal three-part illustration series created as a visual narrative for a poem, inspired by a quote from Neil Gaiman's "The Sandman: The Wake": "Some things are too big to be seen; some emotions are too huge to be felt." Exploring themes of profound emotion and life transitions, this project blends Gaiman's influence with personal stories to evoke a deeply introspective mood.

Dream Walker - first page of a comic strip
This ongoing project is a tribute to Winsor McCay's "Little Nemo in Slumberland." It follows the dream adventures of Little Taylor, inspired by a poignant childhood story shared by my father, who once sleepwalked across a multilane highway. The narrative reimagines this event, blending fantasy with reality as Little Taylor navigates surreal dreamscapes. The comic strip's first page marks the beginning of Little Taylor's dream adventure., where he meets a group of native characters guiding him through a spiritual initiation ceremony. This enchanting adventure ultimately leads him to cross a vast, ancient river, symbolizing the highway from his real-life experience.

monster
This piece explores the internal struggle of reconciling with one's "monster"—the sense of isolation that accompanies self-awareness. The drawing depicts a girl embracing a creature reminiscent of internal organs, symbolizing a longing for the primal comfort of the womb—a space where one feels unity and the absence of fear. In her other hand, she holds a cigarette, illustrating the tendency to seek a fleeting, artificial sense of connection in the quest to fill the void of lonliness.

Southern comfort food truck Menu
A menu for a fictional food truck serving Southern comfort food with a secret twist—it's like a good old-fashioned diner that hosts a cozy, heartwarming burlesque show.
This food truck ambles through even the most remote places, doling out a hearty mix of comfort, joy, and a little bit of sass to those wandering through.

Mythological Animals Zoo Map (1/2)
This project features a creatively designed map for a zoo inspired by The Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem and influenced by Native American mythology. I aimed to intertwine mythological creatures with the zoo’s biblical narratives. The layout parallels the actual zoo's design, reminiscent of a bird's shape, while I added a personal artistic touch by hand-lettering all the text.

Legofest poster series
Three posters for an imaginary festival celebrating LEGO's 90th anniversary focused on Danish tradition and creativity. The main poster and two supplementary posters outline the schedule for each festival day. I designed intricate, embroidery-like images using LEGO cubes arranged into mosaic patterns inspired by Danish folk art. This approach aimed to blend LEGO aesthetics with cultural elements, creating a versatile branding solution applicable to various event materials and merchandise.

The Cross Family Vacation (1/2)
The Cross Family isn't your typical brood. They revel in the peculiar and cherish the eerie gloom of drab days under low, gray skies. But above all, they delight in a good, lucrative bargain. When dear Uncle found his quirky little hotel shrouded in off-season mystery, he extended an irresistible invitation to the family: a complimentary vacation at the hotel while he attends to some... "work." However, the family remained blissfully unaware that the lingering weather was not the only force keeping the hotel shrouded in silence this time of year.
